The Project

Our work with Cruyff, an Iconic name in football, founded in 1979 by Ballon D’Or winner Johan Cruyff, combines modern trend sportswear with high end luxury to create a unique fashion brand. As the originators of football fashion, Cruyff have elevated themselves to work alongside fashion houses and luxury brands using avant-garde materials to combine outstanding quality with comfort and practicality.

Working in unison with both the UK and Dutch based Cruyff teams, The Drawing Room is responsible for the ideation, concept creation, principle photography and post production editing, and final outputs of apparel and footwear creative across Cruyff's full range of digital and physical activations, from in-store POS and floor stickers to full website lookbook takeovers. We also support Cruyff to align their retailer marketing strategies with specific creative content to help maximise the ROI for the campaigns with targeted concepts and outputs.

We provide the same level of detail and craftsmanship in our creative style in which Cruyff pride themselves within their own design, techniques and use of technically advanced materials.

Each campaign or product is subject to a highly inclusive creative concept and ideation process where the Cruyff and TDR teams agree on a style, and then the brief is handed over to TDR to manage the entire end-to-end process, and deliver all final outputs for activation for Cruyff.

The outcome

We continue to be an integral Cruyff partner delivering standout creative, social activation, campaign creative, photography, videography and support the brand in their mission “To conquer the world with a touch of Cruyff."
