The collaboration between major fashion brands Dr Martens and A Bathing Ape required a creative solution befitting the stature of both brands. We worked with both brands’ creative teams in order to collaborate and understand the story behind the collab, behind the brands themselves, and also the ultimate aims and objectives of driving sales of the collection.
Within a WordPress platform, we crafted an aesthetic 50/50 interface that showed off the best of both brands, side by side, giving an even balance and weighting to both parties of the collaboration. Each section highlighted one of the products in a refined creative look & feel befitting of both brands.
The website created also gave the ability to pre-order products from the range, before the full launch was executed on a third party platform designed for sales, whilst ours was retained as the core showroom for presenting the products in all their glory. The collaboration was also delivered across multiple countries, with our platform as the anchor for all content.
A Bathing Ape and Dr Martens were both thrilled with the final collaboration site design, which blended both brands styles and strong product visuals seamlessly, and was particularly suited for accessibility across the multi-country campaign.
